"With TinyCommand, it is just one flow." — Ankit Solanki, InVideo

SmartSuite is one of the most impressive work management platforms to emerge in recent years. A G2 rating of 4.8/5 is exceptionally high. 200+ templates covering everything from project management to CRM to HR. 40+ field types. 9+ views including maps and charts. It is trying to replace Monday.com, Asana, and Airtable in one tool, and based on user reviews, it is doing a credible job.

TinyCommand is built on a different philosophy. It is not primarily a work management tool. It is an automation platform. The difference matters: SmartSuite helps teams track and manage work. TinyCommand helps teams automate work so there is less to track and manage.

Both tools have databases, views, and automations. The question is whether you need project management depth (SmartSuite) or automation and AI depth (TinyCommand).

Where Each Tool Wins
Where SmartSuite wins

Work management depth. Gantt charts with dependencies, timeline views, workload management, and dashboards. If your team needs to plan projects, track deadlines, manage resources, and visualize progress, SmartSuite has purpose-built features for this. TinyCommand has basic Gantt in TinyTables but not at SmartSuite's depth.

200+ templates. Pre-built solutions for project management, CRM, HR, product development, marketing, and more. Start with a template, customize to your needs. TinyCommand has AI-generated templates but not a curated library of this size.

G2 rating. 4.8/5 on G2. Users consistently praise the interface, flexibility, and customer support. This is one of the highest ratings in the work management category.

Dashboards. Built-in dashboards with charts, metrics, and KPI tracking. TinyCommand does not have native dashboards.

Views. 9+ views including Map view and Chart view in addition to the standard Grid, Kanban, Calendar, Timeline, and Gantt. TinyTables has 7 views but no map or chart views.

Enterprise features. On the $50/seat/mo Enterprise plan: SSO, SCIM provisioning, audit logs, IP restrictions, DLP, and European data residency. TinyCommand does not have these enterprise governance features yet.

Where TinyCommand wins

No per-seat pricing. This is the killer. SmartSuite at $15/seat/month for a 10-person team costs $150/month. For 20 people: $300/month. For 50 people on Enterprise: $2,500/month. TinyCommand Professional at $49/month covers 10 users. Agency at $149/month covers 50. The savings compound dramatically as teams grow.

Data enrichment. Upload company names or email addresses. TinyTables automatically fills in company size, industry, location, funding, tech stack, and social profiles. SmartSuite has no equivalent. You would need to add Clay ($149+/month) or a similar tool.

AI agents. TinyAgents with 7 LLM providers deploy chatbots that answer questions, qualify leads, and take actions connected to your data and workflows. SmartSuite has SmartSuite AI for generating content within the platform but not external-facing AI agents.

Native email builder. TinyEmails creates and sends emails triggered by workflow steps. SmartSuite can send notifications but does not have a visual email builder or email marketing capabilities.

Free forever plan. SmartSuite has a 14-day trial only. TinyCommand has a genuine free-forever plan with 1,000 credits, unlimited forms, and unlimited responses. You can evaluate TinyCommand without time pressure.

Automation with 100+ integrations. TinyWorkflows connects to Slack, Gmail, HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, and 100+ other apps. SmartSuite has automations but with fewer external integration options.

Work management vs business automation

This is the fundamental distinction. SmartSuite is designed to help teams organize, track, and collaborate on work. Who is doing what, by when, and how is it going. The views, dashboards, and Gantt charts serve this purpose beautifully.

TinyCommand is designed to help teams automate work. Not track it — eliminate it. A lead comes in through a form. Data enrichment qualifies it. A workflow routes it. An email follows up. An AI agent handles the initial conversation. The human only gets involved when judgment is needed.

If your bottleneck is visibility (people do not know what is happening), SmartSuite solves that. If your bottleneck is manual work (people are doing the same repetitive tasks over and over), TinyCommand solves that.

The cost reality for growing teams

Per-seat pricing creates a tax on growth. Every new hire increases your SmartSuite bill. At $15/seat, it seems manageable. But growing from 10 to 30 people takes your monthly bill from $150 to $450. On Professional ($32/seat), that same growth takes you from $320 to $960/month.

TinyCommand's plan-based pricing means growth does not automatically increase cost. Professional at $49/month works for 10 users. Agency at $149/month works for 50. The unit economics get better as you grow, not worse.
